This movie has what Last Samurai Lacked a hard and straight message. I liked the female lead, Leo was his usual good.

Fantastic flick. Di Caprio yet again in an awesome performance. Being a true story of what happened in this part of the world at that time and the way it was captured was brilliant. Jennifer Connelly has such seductive eyes and she actually is pretty hot, which I haven't noticed before.

I think that the movie is very exciting and thrilling. Some plot of the movie is really touching, especially the character of the movie Solomon Vandy tries to persuade his son Dia Vandy to put down the gun in his hand. The words that Solomon says to him really touch me. Another plot that touches me is the character of the movie Danny Archer sacrifices his life for Solomon Vandy and his son. When I saw he saying goodbye to them and Maddy Bowen, I felt very sad and it really touched me. I think the movie is an excellent movie, it reflects the society problem of blood diamond. Some people kill others for blood diamond or money. I felt sad after I saw the movie. The film lets me realize that there are many people now suffering from the war of blood diamond. I hope that the blood diamond won't be appeared anymore.

Horrifying, sad and actually, nothing we didnt know or suppose. To feel as if walking in their shoes was traumatic. Di Caprio was excellent. Not enough local music. Smotth americanised production but don't know how it could b better when aiming to be a blockbuster

too much killing in this movie.....little kids learning to kill in this movie.....africans kililling each other.....not much on the diamond, but alot of killing....not a good storyline.....this movie was was just too cruel for me....it was just sad.....

Welcome back leonardo! This movie was.. well great! A sad ending like the old Titanic though with the death of Leo.
Was quite disapointed. I also found his SouthAfrican acsent quite funny! liked it but was kind of fake! but cute i quess. -

Damn!
All that for a freaking diamond! OK, I know the diamond could've changed their lives for the better, but it just shows how bloodthirsty people can get for these kinds of things.
But it does make us aware of what goes on in this kind of industry and it is sickening!
Djimon Hounsou is a standout in this film and Leonardo was fantastic as usual apart from his ridiculous accent. -

This movie was extraordinary and insightful to much of the events taking place in Sierra Leone today. The acting was phenomenal buy Leo and Djimon. This movie was very good... watch out for adult content, Language, and gore violence, but it is a good one to watch. I say See It... or rent it.

I now know why DiCaprio got the nomination for Best Performance in Blood Diamond over his performance in The Departed. The acting was stellar from everyone. Moving story.

I really liked this movie Leonardo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsou are great actor. The only thing that I didn't like was Jennifer Connelly part at the end of the movie when she was crying it wasn't convincing enough? But over all you have to see it?

Djimon Hounsou great acting... dicaprio was quit good. And the movie goes away from the traditional hollywood way; not too far away of course, it's still hollywood... Good, they are moving foward.
