Plot: The Pevensie siblings return to Narnia, where they are enlisted to once again help ward off an evil king and restore the rightful heir to the land's throne, Prince Caspian.
*drool* Prince Caspian be mine!
Loved the movie too. A bit Lord of the Rings, but with a story of its own. Loved, loved, loved it!
awesomeness!
good
want to see this sooooo bad
I went with my friend to see it and I thought it was pretty good even though it had a kiss at the end it was not half bad
This is an awesome movie! So many battles and a lot better than the first even though that one is good too.
If you loved the movie because the stars look so handsome and the graphics are very nice, there is something seriously wrong with you. The plot is sluggish - a mortal sin for a fantasy movie.
Ummm... its alright. I could only watch it bout twice. i cant wait to see voyage of the dawn treader. its going to be the best i think
The last three movies I have seen have been sequels, Indy 4, National Treasure 2 and now Narnia 2. This is the only one out of those three which has managed to be better than the previous movie. The problem with the first Narnia was the lack of action and the cheesy, old-fashioned feel. The old-fashioned feel is retained here, but now it feels more comfortable. Thank God most of the cheesy-ness has gone, yes you get the odd bits but the whole thing is alot darker this time around. Alot of sequels do say, oh we're going for a darker tone this time. It is very hard to find a sequel that doesn't say that, but it does work for this movie. The beginning of the movie is a good strong point, just like the first movie really. You get some decent action, and then it calms down for abit. We catch back up with the Pevensie kids, now back in England, Susan is avoiding geeky boys (what that had to do with anything I don't know) Peter is getting in to fights, Edmund has matured is the most likeable of the kids now. Lucy is the same basicly, she doesn't really do anything new. The kids return to Narnia to find it a much different place. I personally preferred the scenes with Prince Caspian. The acting is much better from Ben Barnes, a great newcomer making the character extremely likeable. William Moseley as Peter is still a big problem with this movie. He is very unlikeable, annoying and frankly his character is a twat in this movie. He is much better at doing the fight scenes then he is at the acting. Anne Popplewell doesn't have much to do as Susan, but I found her very attractive in this movie! Georgie Henley is okay, just pretty much the same as the first. Skandar Keyes as Edmund is alot better than he was in the first one. He is alot funnier and likeable. The villian is a slight disappointment. In the first movie you have a good strong villian. You only really get a bit of that with this one. He sports a Leonidas beard and gives evil stares, gruffs and orders which you dramticly gasp! Some of the CGI characters are better, most noteable is Eddie Izzard as Richeepee (I think thats how you spell it anyway). Things improve when Pevensie catch up with Caspian. You get some rivalry (which brings out Peter's twat side) and some romance between Caspian and Susan. Another improved element is the battle scenes. In the first one, you only had one great battle scene. In this one you have three. The best one is the one near the end. Yes it is slightly similar to the Lord of the Rings, but it retains its own feel that still makes it original entertainment. Andrew Adamson has done well with this instalment, he gives a strong ending. I can understand the reason for getting a new director for the next one, the books change in feel, then so must the films, and that will require new direction. This has greatly improved on the first one, yes the acting is still a problem with a couple of the younger ones and it has a few slow bits. But more battles and a great performance from Barnes, you have a much, much improved sequel. Bring on Voyage of the Dawn Treader!
wasn't able to watch the whole of the first movie so can't tell much if which one is better or which one is not.. i've heard stories of the first one though, nd i didn't like the fact that i wasn't able to watch it... back to the movie..in a movie, i always appreciate those endings that are good and i saw it in prince caspian... the fighting scenes were really good.. what i lykd the most was the first part when skandar had to fyt with the small one.the swords looked heavy but when they hold it with there hands it seemed very lyt..as lyt as a feather (ahaha..exage)!.. i also lykd the story, there were parts where i cried.. especially when a lot of the narnians died.. i also saw the improtance of leadership and that if your a leader it doesn't mean you're always right, you also have flaws..haha.. william mosely was really gorgeous as well as ben barnes.. but, i didn't lyk the idea of anna kissing ben.. i didn't find it appropriate for the story..ahaha..it cud have been better if they really created a story for them in the movie, in that way the kissing wud be appropriate.. ahaha.. all in all, it was a good movie.. wish i cud c more of aslan..nd hope i can read the book..
Though the production values are the best money can buy and the film fulfills its promise of great action and adventure, many of its action set pieces seem all too familiar. It seems a bit uninspired because it fails to add something new to the increasingly spent genre. It attempts to give dramatic weight to the story with violence and a body count, yet panders to children with deus ex machina solutions and simplified themes. Fortunately it makes no effort to hide its obvious Christian allegory and thus avoids further confusion, and it ends with a surprisingly poignant moment common in the best children's literature: the final crossing over from fantasy to reality, from childhood into adulthood. Flaws aside, it is a richer, fuller movie than its predecessor and a worthy piece of family entertainment.
Great sequel to The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Once again the special effects are magnificent and story follows wonderfully.
As i did like narnia but not much, i didnt really think this could be any better but i was proved to be wrong as this movie really got my attention.
I loved every single second of it, its really nice... its like Lord Of The Rings alot, it sorta had its similiarities but this is much better..
The performances were high as well.. i highly recommend this movie..
i really find that mouse so cute and funny, reminds me of Robinhood, hehe.. high entertainment, Same standard as the Order Of The Phoenix of Harry Potter Series..
I liked this movie better than the first Narnia movie (which really isn't saying much, since I don't care for the Narnia stories as a whole... just not a fantasy lover). The quality seems smoother and I found less to nitpick. I didn't care for what they did with the character of Reepicheep... He's just not a snarky wisecracking character. He takes everything super seriously. And some of that was lost in the movie. Also, Susan's character was weirdified, to use the scientific terminology. However, if you liked the first movie, you should like this one a lot as well. I'm just looking forward to The Silver Chair. That was my favorite of the book series.
Very exciting. Thought I didn't quite like that romance between Susan and Caspian, which sooo isn't in the book. Perhaps if they had changed the ending aswell;-)
This movie was good, but not as good as people raved in my opinion. Still a very enjoyable movie and fun to watch!
K so if you hate the lion the witch and the wardrobe don't let it stop you from seeing this cuz I hated that one and if nothing else the guy who plays the prince is so effin sexy it's retarded. Plus the plot isn't so bad either
The characters of C.S. Lewis' timeless fantasy come to life once again in this newest installment of the "Chronicles of Narnia" series, in which the Pevensie siblings are magically transported back
HOLY CROW! I LUV THIS MOVIE SO MUCH IT WAY BETTER THEN THE 1ST MOVIE I CAN'T WAIT TO OWN IT ON DVD AND WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER! :D PS I LUV ALL THE STARS IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
A really good film and followed the book well and added some good scenes!! Peter looked gorgeous which was a great bonus!!!
The movie is a best portrayal of the human values that have been forgotten by man and animals have been used in the best way to take back man to them
I loved it ! I have to admit i thought the 1st movie was crap ! But this one is great ! U cant compare !
It's brilliant ! I didn't actually like the first movie ! But this one is great !
Well. the 1st Narnia film was pretty ok-ish but I didnt really enjoy it that much. Perhaps my curiosity and wanting to see it is caused by all the hype people have made about this movie. Im half skeptical and half interested. Then again I can bitch about it later if I dont like it lol!
It was fine. I liked the first one a little better, probably because it wasn't as dark. This was basically a war movie.
it was the same as to what i have read in the book, except for the "love thing" between prince caspian and susan.

I think the movie is pretty disappointing. It is pretty much exactly like the first one, there is no new development, there are no new twists or anything you dont expect. If you have only seen the first one safe your money and wait until it comes out on dvd, much better. Even the fighting scene is pretty much like in the first one.

I love this movie, especially the scenes with Skandar Keynes (Edmund) in them... this is an amazing movie, i don't know why you guys keep bashing it! i love it :) And it just the right amount of violence for me. I wouldn't have been able to stand anymore.
