unexpectedly entertaining and engaging. i have never really been a big fan of these gigantic robots, but i really enjoyed this movie very much--with its impressive visuals and storyline, sporadic humor, and shia labeouf. ^^

Awesome well made version of the cartoon I so fondly remember.
Graphics were awesome (oh,did I say that already)and made it feel real.Glad I gave this one a go,worth the watch. -

My best movie so far. I definetly loved this action adventure flick. It was filled with intense scifi action through out the movie. It had great actors in it. They all played great, especially shia LaBeouf. He was the best actor in it. He really took the movie seriously. Josh Duhamel played a great soldier. It had the best special effects that i have ever seen in a movie. Im definetly get'n the movie Oct 16 on dvd. There's no way im go'n to pass this great action flick up.

The movie has stunning action sequences, spectacular visual effects, a few good songs and a great blend of action and comedy. Julie White's character as the mom of Shia LeBeouf's character is hilarious and an absolute riot. This movie rocks!

First the Citroen advert, then denials about a movie being made, then this gem!! Excellent! My much youger brother watched a lot of the cartoons and I often sat and watched with him. it refreshing to see that the movie was prety faithful

Wow.What a explosive masterpiece.I predicted to suck but after i saw it,Transformers is one of the most spectacular action movies ever made along Die Hard and Terminator.I grew watching the cartoons as a kid but the movie impressed me a lot.The special effects are amazing,the action is intense and the cast was good.Shia LaBeouf was freaking cool as always but i loved the beautifull Megan Fox and she is a good actress.But the real show stealers are the Optimus Prime,Megatron,Bumblebee and the rest of the Transformers.Michael Bay did a great job and this movie is the best he ever made since The Rock.
I loved Transformers and i canīt wait for the sequel.Until then, i will getting satysfied with the most explosive film of 2007. -

I thought it was good and definitely brought the transformers to a vivid reality on screen. I was disappointed that the volkswagen beattle wasn't in the show though. One of the most famous of the transformers and they bumped it basically for a car ad with the new vehicle.

Pleasantly surprising with a good storyline. ?Transformers? is certainly effective with it?s impressive ?Robots in disguise? transformation. What made this film for me was the performance by Shia LaBeouf who is truly a natural comic.
As a kid, I never watched the original series and so I had nothing to compare this with, I therefore had no preconceived expectations.
A very enjoyable watch with impressive effects. -

I liked Shia LaBeouf's acting but other than that the acting was kinda lame. There were characters that weren't really important and the transformers didn't explain much like what is the cube? But there was certainly enough action to keep me entertained

I hate Michael Bay. he destroyed The Transformers. He made up a black transformer just to kill him off. The entire fight btween Optimus and Megatron took place off screen, Michael Bay pulled just about vevery decepticon out of his ass and when the robots were fighting you couldnt even see who was hitting who. FUCK THIS MOVIE

This was a surprisingly good movie, which I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting myself into. The only true complaint that I had was that much of the fight scenes with the Autobots and the Decepticons were either too short or too cluttered. I know that they were fighting in the city, but that doesn't mean that the towers should be blocking out the fight, and if my g/f is telling me that the Decepticons are as bad ass as they are, they shouldn't be killed 5 minutes after they are introduced. However, overall, the movie was pretty solid and enjoyable.

This turned out way better than I had anticipated. The CGI was flawless and phenomenal! It also made me want to go out and buy a new Camaro. ;) Can't wait for the other two now.

Impressive... Very good adaptation of the original series into the big screen... I have to say I didn't expect to see such great results in the transformation sequences... The whole cube thing is not very believable, but what are you going to do... That was its starting plot after all...

Holy hell this movie is incredible. The special effects are amazing and Shia Lebouf proves how good of an actor he really is. For those of us who have loved him since he was Louis Stevens, it was exciting to see him do such a great job in this movie.

This could have been a better movie, but for some reason, Hollywood thinks that they have to 'dumb down' their movies for the kids; this pisses me off, it insults my intelligence. They need to bring the kids up to adult levels and thus making them smarter and making a better human being.
The effects were great, but the stupid little robot just pissed me off. Aren't they supposed to be a higher intelligence?
